A. TROY HUNTER
Troy Hunter understands the intimate complexities of personal injury and property damage litigation. He has been practicing as an injury trial lawyer for over 20 years, representing both insurance defense clients and plaintiffs alike in personal injury and wrongful death claims. His areas of expertise include commercial general liability, auto liability, premises and product liability (particularly in the retail industry), employment and sexual assault/abuse/discrimination.
Troy has successfully argued cases at every level in Washington, from district courts to the State Supreme Court. In addition, Troy has effectively mediated hundreds of cases to resolution. As a result of this vast experience on both sides of the litigation arena, coupled with the ability to really listen to what is being said (or often not said), Troy is quickly able to understand and appreciate the interests and motivations on all sides of a given dispute. This helps facilitate mutual understanding so that commonality can be explored, and resolution ultimately achieved.
Troy’s skills and experience are put to good use as a true neutral at Pacific ADR where he helps parties find and stand on common ground and achieve meaningful resolutions to their claims, avoiding expensive and uncertain trial outcomes.
When he’s not practicing law in one form or another, Troy likes to spend time with his four grandkids, his three dogs, and supporting NW Canine Coalition, a non-profit founded by his wife, Kathleen. NWCC’s mission is to shine a light on special-needs dogs caught in the adoption system and help them find loving homes.
If you would like to schedule Troy Hunter for mediation or arbitration please contact Pacific ADR.
